We always strongly advise that our clients enter into formal construction contracts whether their development relates to the construction a ten-storey hotel or a kitchen extension to their home. We are familiar with dealing with JCT and RIBA form contracts whether on behalf of owners, contractors or sub-contractors. Our Dispute Resolution department has substantial experience dealing with adjudication and arbitration procedures arising out of construction disagreements and accept referrals from property firms without specialisation in this field.

In recent years we have acted for owners in connection with a number of large construction projects including the construction of a number of prestigious Central London Hotels and Laban, winner of RIBA Stirling Prize for Building of the Year, designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
