always strongly advise that our clients enter into formal construction
contracts whether their transaction relates to a ten-storey hotel or a
kitchen extension to their home. We are familiar with dealing with JCT
form contracts whether on behalf of owners, contractors or
sub-contractors and our Dispute Resolution department has substantial
experience dealing with adjudication and arbitration procedures arising
out of construction disagreements.
In recent years we have acted for owners in connection with a number of
large construction projects including the construction of prestigious
Central London Hotels and Laban, winner of RIBA Stirling Prize for
Building of the Year, designed by Herzog & de Meuron.
We are also proud to represent Zaha Hadid's interests including the
acquisition of headquarter offices.
